The short version
- Rush War has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
- Your progress is saved only on your phone.
- Ads are shown by Google AdMob. They are family-friendly and not personalised.
- Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
- Reminders are scheduled on your phone by the game. News is sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn both off at any time.
- The game plays offline. It only goes online for ads, purchases and notifications.
1. Who we are
Rush War (Android package com.devstudio.rushwar) is made by Difference Studio, the developer listed on Google Play. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Difference Studio, and "the game" means Rush War.
This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. It applies only to Rush War. Our other games have their own privacy policies.
2. What we collect
We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location. Rush War has no accounts, no chat, no social features and no analytics. Google's Firebase library used for notifications includes analytics code, but it is switched off in Rush War and collects nothing.
Some information is processed by Google services built into the game, as described in the sections on ads, purchases and notifications. We don't receive that information in a form that identifies you.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply to you.
3. What's saved on your device
The game saves the following on your phone so you can pick up where you left off. It is not sent to us.
- Mission progress, coins, diamonds, RB and upgrade levels
- Squad skins you own and the one you're using
- Settings such as sound and graphics quality (HD or SD, chosen automatically for your phone)
- Whether you've accepted this privacy policy
- Purchase records, such as Remove Ads, so items are delivered once and can be restored
Uninstalling the game or clearing its data in Android settings deletes all of this.
4. Ads
Rush War is free to play and shows ads served by Google AdMob. Because the game is made for players of all ages, including children:
- ads are not personalised and are not based on your interests or activity in other apps;
- ads are limited to content suitable for a general audience;
- ad requests are marked for child-directed treatment where the law requires it.
To deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, Google may process device information such as your IP address, device and operating-system type, app version and, where permitted, the Android advertising ID. Google handles this information under its own policies:
If you live in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the game may ask for your consent through Google's consent message before showing ads. You can change your choice later from the game's settings.
Buying Remove Ads (or a pack that includes it) turns off ads in the game.
5. In-app purchases
Rush War offers optional purchases such as diamond packs and Remove Ads. You can play the whole game without paying.
All payments are processed by Google Play. We never see or store your card number, bank details or billing address. When you buy something, Google Play tells the game that the purchase succeeded and gives it an order reference. The game uses that reference to deliver the item, to make sure it's delivered only once, and to restore purchases such as Remove Ads if you reinstall.
Refunds and payment questions are handled under Google Play's refund policy. Parents can require a password or approval for every purchase in the Google Play Store settings.
RB, coins and diamonds are in-game items only. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for real money.
6. Notifications
Rush War sends two kinds of notifications:
- Reminders, such as "Your squad is waiting", a few hours or days after you last played. The game schedules these on your phone itself. They are never sent to us or anyone else, opening the game cancels them, and they are not sent at night.
- News and events, such as a new mission, sent by us through Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service. To deliver them, Firebase gives your copy of the game a random notification token. The token doesn't contain your name or contact details and is used only to send Rush War notifications.
On Android 13 and newer, the game asks for permission before sending any notifications. You can turn them off at any time in Android Settings, Apps, Rush War, Notifications.
7. Internet and offline play
You can play every mission without an internet connection. The game goes online only to load ads, make or restore purchases through Google Play, and receive notifications. It does not upload your progress or gameplay to us.
8. Permissions the game uses
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
Internet INTERNET | Load ads, connect to Google Play for purchases, and receive notifications. |
Network status ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Check whether you're online so the game doesn't try to load ads or open the store while offline. |
Google Play billing com.android.vending.BILLING | Make and restore in-app purchases. |
Notifications POST_NOTIFICATIONS | Show notifications, on Android 13 and newer. You're asked first. |
Run at startup RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED | Put scheduled reminders back after your phone restarts. |
Advertising ID AD_ID | Used by Google AdMob where permitted, for example to limit how often an ad repeats and to prevent ad fraud. Not used for personalised ads. |
Vibration VIBRATE | Short vibrations during gameplay. |
Google's libraries used for purchases, ads and notifications also declare a few technical permissions: keeping the device awake for a moment to deliver a notification (WAKE_LOCK), receiving Firebase messages (c2dm.RECEIVE), reading how the app was installed from Google Play (install referrer) and privacy-preserving ad measurement (ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION). None of these give access to your personal data, and Rush War does not use interest-based ad targeting.
The game does not ask for your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or location.
9. Children
Rush War is designed for a general audience, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There are no accounts, chat or ways for players to share personal information in the game.
Ads in the game are not personalised and are limited to family-friendly content, and purchases go through Google Play, where parents can require approval for every purchase. We aim to follow the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR and Google Play's Families policies.
If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, for example by email, contact us at support@differencegames.store and we will delete it.
10. Your choices and deleting data
- Game data: uninstall the game, or go to Android Settings, Apps, Rush War, Storage, Clear data. This deletes everything saved on your phone.
- Ads: buy Remove Ads to turn them off. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings, under Google, Ads.
- Notifications: turn them off in Android Settings, Apps, Rush War, Notifications.
- Information held by Google: manage it from your Google Account data and privacy page.
We don't hold any account or profile about you. If you have a privacy request, such as access or deletion, email us and we'll help with anything we hold, such as your emails to us.
11. Security and retention
Connections to Google services use encrypted HTTPS. Game data on your phone is protected by Android's app sandbox, which stops other apps from reading it. We keep emails you send us only as long as we need them to help you.
12. Changes to this policy
If the game changes in a way that affects your privacy, for example a new service, we will update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we may also let you know in the game.
