Thank you for choosing Spot The Difference ("the App"), developed and operated by Difference Games ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Information We Collect

We do NOT collect any personal data. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Name, email address, phone number, or any personal identification information
• Device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, MAC address)
• Location data (GPS or network-based)
• Photos, media, or files from your device
• Contact information or social media data
• Browsing history or usage analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers

2. What We Store Locally

The App stores the following data locally on your device only. This data never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to any server:

• Game Progress: Levels completed, stars earned, unlock status
• Daily Challenge Progress: Daily completion status and scores
• Settings: Sound on/off preference, display name (user-set)
• Privacy Acceptance: Timestamp of privacy policy acceptance

All local data is stored using Android's SharedPreferences/DataStore API and is deleted when you uninstall the App.

3. Network Usage

The App uses an internet connection solely to:

• Download level images and level manifests from our server (differencegames.store)

No user data is sent to our servers during this process. We only serve static game content (images and JSON files).

4. Third-Party Services

The App does NOT use any third-party services that collect data, including:

• No analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, etc.)
• No advertising SDKs (Google AdMob, Facebook Ads, Unity Ads, etc.)
• No social media integration SDKs
• No crash reporting services that transmit data externally
• No payment processing (the App is completely free)

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Our App is suitable for all ages. Since we do not collect any personal information from anyone, our App is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

6. Data Deletion

Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is no data to delete on our end. To delete all locally stored game data, simply uninstall the App from your device.

7. Data Security

Since no data is transmitted or stored remotely, the risk of unauthorized access is minimal. All local data is protected by Android's standard app sandbox security model.

8. Permissions Used

The App requests only one Android permission:

• INTERNET: Required to download level images and manifests from our game server. Used exclusively for fetching game content over HTTPS.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
